Born and raised in Hawai’i, Camille Yano has excelled in diverse industries such as modeling, fashion, dance, non-profit work, and business.
With a surprising turn towards entrepreneurship fueled by her unwavering drive, love for fashion and dance, and a receptive mindset, Camille now thrives as a realtor at True Real Estate Hawai’i, assisting clients on Oahu. Her journey includes managing two mobile boutiques alongside a full-time healthcare job, instructing salsa classes, and participating in both semi-pro and all ladies dance teams, drawing from her extensive background in ballet, tap, hula, Tahitian, and salsa dancing since the age of three.
Camille attributes her ability to balance various aspects of her life to her participation in the Cherry Blossom pageant. Formerly a contestant for Cherry Blossom Queen, she viewed the experience not just as a cultural exploration but also as a means to conquer her fear of public speaking. The invaluable lesson of managing school, work, and the pageant concurrently has significantly contributed to her adeptness at multitasking in her professional endeavors.
Currently, Camille remains actively engaged in the community as an advisory board member at The Salvation Army World Service Office. Her past involvements include serving as the President and Founding Member of Echelon West Oahu, Founding Member and Marketing, Events, and Social Media Chair of Echelon Hawai’i, the Social Media Chair and Existing Chapter Development Chair for the Echelon Leaders Council, and holding titles such as Ms. Hawai’i International 2022 and Ms. Asia Hawai’i for multiple years. Through her roles in various boards and as a titleholder, Camille leverages her platform to advocate for the significance of giving back, a value instilled in her since childhood.
